Two-time GRAMMY® Award nominated harpsichordist to open Morningside piano recital series

SIOUX CITY, IOWA – Jory Vinikour will open the Morningside College 2019-2020 piano recital series at on Friday, Sept. 6, at 7:30 p.m., in the Levitt Gallery at Eppley Auditorium, 3625 Garretson Ave. Vinikour’s Morningside recital will include works by Fischer, Bach, Kalabis and Rameau. The performance is free and open to the public.

Morningside College Launching First Doctoral Program This Fall

Morningside College will begin offering classes for its first ever doctoral program, a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), featuring tracks in Direct Patient Care and Transformative Leadership this fall.

Dean of school of education appointed to statewide task force

LuAnn Haase, dean of the Walker School of Education at Morningside College, recently was appointed to serve on a statewide task force charged with leading implementation of the Model Code of Ethics for Educators into teacher education programs across Iowa.
