  • FULL TIME OR PART TIME UNDERGRADUATE DEGREE SEEKING STUDENTS ENROLLED for Spring 2017 term may advance register for the summer session at the same time that they advance register for next fall.
  • OTHERS who attend Morningside College as non-degree seeking students or who attend other institutions during the academic year may advance register for the summer session beginning April 23.
  • APPLYING FOR ADMISSION is not necessary unless one is applying for financial aid or receiving Veteran’s Benefits. To obtain further information on applying for admission, contact the Director of Admissions, 274-5111.
  • ANY CHANGES IN REGISTRATION must be processed by the Registrar’s Office. A drop/add card must be filled out and processed in order to change an original registration. The Registrar’s Office processes drop/add cards the same day they are received, and that date determines the amount of refund the student is entitled to, according to the following TUITION REFUND SCHEDULE:

Summer School Refund Policy

Withdrawals during the first 60% of a term are given a pro-rata refund of tuition. Fees are not refundable. There is no refund after 60% of the term has passed. Withdrawals on or before the first day of the Summer Session receive a 100% refund of tuition. After the third day of the Summer Session there is no refund for partial reduction in enrollment.

FINANCIAL AID may be available for ADMITTED students enrolled during the summer session. Morningside College scholarships and grants cannot be applied to the summer school session. To determine whether your particular situation qualifies you for financial aid, contact the Office of Student Financial Planning, 274- 5159.

Morningside College reserves the right to withhold registration transcripts and other services and privileges from any student who has a delinquent financial obligation for tuition, fees, parking fines, library fines or books.

Students are charged a 1.5% monthly finance charge (18% APR) on the unpaid balance of charges older than 30 days.
