Organizational Management Degree

Last updated February 22, 2017

On behalf of the faculty and staff for Programs for Non-traditional Students and the Center for Online Learning, I want to welcome you to Morningside College. We are committed to providing a quality liberal-arts education to our students. We believe that offering students online and distance coursework enables Morningside College to further its worldwide impact while maintaining small, personal classes with committed instructors.

A degree in Organizational Management can help you build the skills to create and lead teams and prepare you for management positions in business, education, government and nonprofit industries. With that, a Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Management can open the door to career advancement, preparing you for management and leadership positions in a wide variety of fields.

Employers point out that both the expectations and challenges their employees face are greater today than in the past. Majorities say their company/organization is asking employees to take on greater responsibilities and to use a broader set of skills while facing challenges today that are more complex than in the past. More than three in four employers say they want colleges to place more emphasis on helping students develop five key learning outcomes, including: critical thinking, complex problem-solving, written and oral communication, and applied knowledge in real-world settings. The majority of employers agree that having both field-specific knowledge and skills, and a broad range of skills and knowledge are most important for recent college graduates to achieve long-term career success.*

We look forward to learning and growing professionally with you.
