Under the direction of Information Services, the Technology Services Center (TSC) is staffed full-time by the Technology Services Supervisor, and employs a number of part-time Student Technology Assistants (STA’s). If you are experiencing hardware or software problems, our staff will do their best to repair the problem. If the software problem cannot be resolved quickly, the option of re-imaging the computer to its original configuration will be offered. In some instances, a replacement unit or temporary loaner may be assigned. Our staff works and collaborates closely with the Student Notebook Coordinator, and other Information Services staff to provide the campus with its overall technology needs.

Services & Equipment
Computer Hardware Services -- If you have a college issued computer, we have full-time technical staff, Student Technology Assistants available to fix problems and answer questions. These services include:
- Hardware repairs
- Password issues
- Network connectivity issues
- Assignment & inventory of student, faculty, staff computers
- Print station connectivity issues
- Service for faculty/staff, and lab computers.
Computer Software Services --
- Software diagnostics and repair of standard issue software
- Installation assistance for specialized software
- Purchasing assistance for specialized software
- Removal of software and data in the event of corruption
- Re-imaging of standard issue software to original state
How-To and Training Services -- Tech Services staff are knowledgeable with some software programs, and may be able to help if you have a question (x5544). If we cannot answer your question, contact the Learning Center Reference Desk (x5193), where a librarian can help you research existing references. Faculty can request training from the Educational Technologist (x5253) and staff can request training through Human Resources (x5114).
Other Technology Equipment & Services -- Classrooms and meeting rooms are equipped with the necessary technology & projection equipment for teaching and presentations. All students and faculty have notebook computers that can be connected to these systems (for assistance, contact Tech Services). When necessary, the equipment listed below can be checked out on a short-term basis (subject to availability). Nominal fees charged for some services as listed below.
