Service & Volunteering at Morningside

Last updated September 04, 2018

We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give. - Winston Churchill

Part of our commitment to cultivating dedication to ethical leadership and civic responsibility is cultivating a life of service to others. We strive to connect Morningside students with opportunities to serve throughout Siouxland both as individuals and through their teams, clubs, organizations, and coursework.

Each October our leadership honor society, Omicron Delta Kappa, hosts Into the Streets (see video below), a campus-wide day of service sending hundreds of Morningsiders into the community to volunteer.  Throught the rest of the year, Pastor Andy Nelson, our Director of Campus Ministry & Community Service, works to facilitate regular opportunities for the Morningside community to serve.
